Most people hate paying their insurance premium every month, this agent included. In case you're wondering, I live in a house, drive multiple cars, have teenage drivers, and love my wife and kids so I have the same needs for insurance as you do. Plus, I pay the same rates as you do. No special discounts or rates just because I'm an Insurance Professional.
Have you heard the phrase "we're insurance poor"? I have and I am.
I love to hear this phrase though, because when I do I know that I'm talking with someone who appreciates insurance for the beauty that it is. It gives me the opportunity to enhance the beauty and value of their (the prospect) insurance protection.
Most people don't understand the beauty of insurance. Very simply put;
Insurance is the reasonable assurance that a bucket or buckets of money will be available to "pay" an obligation.
- Make any problem go away.
- Protect against a claim.
- Take away risk.
- Settle claims.
- Make you better or worse off.
- Allocate responsibility among parties.
Insurance is a beautiful bucket of bank (a.k.a. money, dough, moola)
that's there when you need it most.
An accident totals your car, it's there.
Your spouse loses her wedding ring, it's there.
A hail storm destroys your roof, it's there.
Your dog bites your neighbor's child, it's there.
If your spouse dies to early in life, it's there to pay the mortgage, help with college expenses, and get you through some difficult times.
It's there and it's a beautiful thing.
As with any insurance policy you must take the time to read your policy. Not every policy is the same and limitations and exclusions will apply. So, read yours carefully and seek the advice and counsel of a qualified insurance professional if you have any questions.
